(WASHINGTON D.C.) First-time claims for jobless benefits are holding steady at a four-year low.

The latest figures from the U.S. Department of Labor show last week's initial claims remained at 351,000 from the week before.

Analysts say the better-than-expected numbers are more evidence the labor market is improving.

The total number of people continuing to collect unemployment benefits dropped by 52,000 for the week ending February 11th to just under 3.4 million.
