MSP/USSSA Softball continues at GISC

St. Joseph, MO--For six weekends between January 15th and March 20th, the Griffon Indoor Complex is home to the Midwest Sports Production Indoor Fastpich Tournaments.

The event bring 11 teams into St. Joseph to play competitive softballl, with some teams traveling from as far as St. Louis and Oklahoma.

The Midwest Sports Production (USSSA) event planners have hosted previous events in St. Joseph at Heritage Park Sports Complex.

They will continue to bring their regular summer tournamentsto Heritage Park in 2011, but
have added six additional indoor tournaments thanks to the new facility.

Estimated economic impact for the six winter tournaments is around $200,000.

Some of the teams participating in the tournament are: Midwest Express, Olathe Rockets, FCS Angels, Oklahoma Madness, PC Monarchs, Flint Hills Wind, KC Fierce, Sizzle Red-Frozen Ropes. St. Louis Area Maniacs, Legacy, and Oklahoma Hustle.
