(St. Joseph, Mo.)  Police are looking for a man they say tried to abduct two young girls from their Rushville home Thursday.

The man tried to lure the girls to his truck with candy.  When they didn't take it, the man tried to grab one of them.

The girls ran off and are okay.  The man was last seen in the Rushville area.

He's driving a dark blue truck with a camper shell.  He's a white male, between 50-60 years old.

He has blonde hair and is bald on top.

He has large frame glasses and crooked teeth.
 
"We don't want anyone to be panicky, but we all want to look out for our children collectively as a group so you know let's keep an eye on our kids, let's keep an eye on our neighbor's kids and make sure everybody goes home safe tonight," said Tiger Parsons of the Buchanan County Sheriff's Department.
