(WATHENA, Ks.) A four-hour standoff has ended at a mobile home park in Wathena, Kan.
According to officers on scene, a man inside refused to come out when a warrant was served at the home around 11 a.m. He barricaded himself inside for about 4 hours.

Officers from the Kansas Highway Patrol, the Doniphan County Sheriff's Department, the Wathena Police Department and the Elwood Police Department surrounded the man's trailer at the Gaslight Acres mobile home park off US Highway 36.
Police evacuated the other homes in the area as a precaution. They also called in a negotiator to try to get the man out of the home safely.

The man was arrested shortly after 3 p.m. without incident.

Wathena Police Chief Raymond Hall said officers were called to the home after neighbors said the man was acting suspicious and paranoid. When they arrived, they learned he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.

When officers tried to get inside to make an arrest, the man refused to come out. Two others inside the home came out when police arrived.
A man who lives several houses down told KQ2 he watched it all unfold this morning.
"It's a scary situation. I looked out my window about three hours ago and saw all of the cop cars. I just hope nobody gets hurt out of the deal," said Charles Bell.

Bell was asked to stay in his home for now while police negotiated with the man.
