(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.,) A teenager was sentenced to 75 years in prison for his involvement in the 2011 shooting death of Brian Ulmer Friday morning.

Elijah Pickett, 18, was given 30 years for second degree murder and 15 years each on five separate felony convictions.

Pickett, who was 16-years-old at the time of the crime, was convicted Jan. 9.

Three of the five felony sentences will run consecutively, with the other two running concurrently.

The sentencing matches what prosecuting attorney Dwight Scroggins requested.

Two other men were sentenced to 20 years each for their roles in the shooting.

A jury acquitted Camareo Goodwin last month. He was also charged in the shooting.

A fifth suspect is awaiting trial.
