(STILLWATER, Okla.) In Bruce Weber's first year as head coach, he's snapped a 36-year drought.

No. 9 Kansas State suffered a 76-70 loss at Oklahoma State Saturday, but a Kansas loss later in the day meant the Wildcats earn a share of the Big 12 title for the first time since 1977.

Kansas State (25-6, 14-4) will be the second seed in the upcoming Big 12 Tournament in Kansas City, awaiting the winner of Texas-TCU on Thursday.

Rodney McGruder again led the Wildcaats in scoring with 22 points, while Thomas Gipson poured in 15 off the bench.

Marcus Smart came up with a 21-point, six-rebound, six-assist effort for the Cowboys, while Le'Bryan Nash topped them with 24 points.
