(OAKLAND, Cal.) The Chiefs knew they'd have an uphill battle with the absence of Dwayne Bowe highlighting big injuries to the receiving corps.

But the offense produced perhaps their most disappointing effort in a disappointing year, falling 15-0 against the Raiders Sunday.

The only dents in the scoreboard came from the leg of Raiders (4-10) kicker Sebastian Janikowski, who connected on distances of 20, 50, 57, 30, and 41 yards on the day.

Kansas City (2-12) mustered just 119 total yards of offense and 10 on the ground, all coming from Jamaal Charles.

Brady Quinn completed 18 of 32 passes for 136 yards and an interception. He was also sacked four times.

For much of the game, it looked as though the Chiefs would flirt with breaking their mark of just four first downs in a single game. It took until the third quarter for them to finally move the chains, as they ended up doing seven times.

Mental miscues also attributed to just one successful third down conversion out of 12 attempts. They also failed on all three of their attempts on fourth down.

It marks the first shutout for Oakland since they pulled off the feat against Kansas City in 2002.
