Lafayette Beats All in Boys Portion of City Jamboree

(SAINT JOSEPH, Mo.) The four city-area teams got their first taste of in-game action in the City Jamboree at Civic Arena Tuesday. 

Lafayette knocked off Bishop LeBlond 19-7, Benton 29-15, and Central 24-17 to sweep the boys portion. 

The Indians picked up wins over Benton and LeBlond by scores of 16-8 and 20-12, respectively

Benton also fell to the Eagles, 13-10, to go winless on the evening.
