DeBuysere Named MIAA Defensive Player of the Week

(MARYVILLE, Mo.) A member of the Northwest Missouri State defense is getting recognized after another solid performance on Saturday.

Senior linebacker Collin DeBuysere earned the MIAA Defensive Player of the Week honors after picking up 7 tackles, 1.5 for loss, an interception and a sack in a 55-10 win over Emporia State on Homecoming.

DeBuysere is the first Bearcat defender to be named conference player of the week.

The Geneseo, IL native is second on the team with 60 tackles and 4 interceptions.

Northwest is home once again on Saturday against Missouri Western
