Northwest Missouri State alums Eric Zornes and Katie Denison have put their heads, hands, and hearts together to document the 2011 Northwest Bearcats football team. The two Northwest broadcasting majors were inspired to create the film following former head coach Scott Bostwick's sudden and unexpected death of a heart attack in the summer of 2011.
Zornes and Denison will begin editing the documentary following the 2011 football season. The film is being funded out of pocket through their upstart production company called "MILE MARKER 8." The two hope to recoup some of the finances through DVD sales. No release date is set yet, but they're shooting to release the DVD in the spring of 2012.
