Chiefs Sign Top Draft Pick Bowe

Kansas City, MO (Sports Network) - The Kansas City Chiefs have agreed to terms with wide receiver Dwayne Bowe, a Kansas City newspaper reported Sunday. Bowe, Kansas Citys first-round selection in this years draft, taken 23rd overall out of Louisiana State, has signed a five-year contract with the team, the Kansas City Star reported Sunday. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to the paper, Bowe is expected to arrive at River Falls, Wisconsin, the site of Kansas Citys training camp, Sunday evening. The six-foot-two, 217-pound wideout had 65 receptions for 990 yards and a school-record 12 touchdowns with the Tigers last season.
