Benton Baseball Quarterfinal Preview

The Benton Cardinals dont get a revenge game in quarterfinals, but the trade-off, is a home game in quarterfinals.
Since Kirksville beat Lawson 1-0 in sectionals Friday, that means Benton will host Saturdays class 3 quarterfinal game at Phil Welch Stadium. Benton was looking forward to a matchup with Lawson, one of only three teams to beat Benton during the regular season. But if Lawson had won, the game would be at Lawson.
"Ill take a home game, over a revenge game any day of the week." said Benton Head Coach Mike Musser
Saturdays Class 3 quarterfinal game begins at 12 noon.
Benton is 21-3
Kirksville is 17-9
