(SAVANNAH, Mo.) A nationwide relay race made it's way through St. Joseph and Savannah on Sunday.
Life Runners is a nationwide organization that runs to raise money for pro-life campaigns.
It's a faith based organization that's hosting a relay race from Brooklyn, New York to San Francisco, while raising awareness against abortion.
Hundreds of runners from around the country are joining the cause and covering more than 4,000 miles nationwide.
"I enjoy running and I believe in the pro-life position, and it's an opportunity to put them together," said John Modlin, Life Runners.
"We wear our Life Runners jerseys and people stop us as we're running and ask us what we're doing. It gives us an opportunity to share with them about how important children are, and how important life is," said Grant Fenske. Life Runners.
The Pregnancy Resource Center in St. Joseph is collecting local donations for anyone that wants to support Life Runners cause.
