(MARYVILLE, Mo.) The Bearcats have done more than just survive their stint without All-MIAA point guard DeShaun Cooper.

They need more than 40 minutes of regulation to continue that trend Wednesday night, but Northwest outlasted Lindenwood for a 73-66 overtime victory.

The win extends the Bearcats' perfect start to 7-0 and 1-0 in conference play.

The Lions (4-2, 0-1) showed their a team to be reckoned with, erasing an 18-point deficit in the second half and knotting the game at 60-60 with 12 seconds left to send the game to overtime.

Alex Sullivan continued his hot play, scoring 18 points including a critical three-pointer in the overtime period. Dillon Starzl was also in double figures with 13 points.

Northwest looks to keep their spotless mark in tact when they host Nebraska-Kearney Saturday.
