(LEXINGTON, Ky.) For the second consecutive season, the Missouri Tigers basketball season ends in its first game of the NCAA Tournament.

It wasn't quite as bad as 15-seed Norfolk State's upset of second-seeded Mizzou in 2012, but a Tiger team that struggled all season on the road bowed out against Colorado State 84-72 on Thursday night.

The Rams (26-8) were lighting it up all game long shooting 49-percent from the field, and 50-percent from 3-point range.

Lawrence, Ks. native Dorian Green scored a career-high 26 points in the win.

Missouri (23-11) also found its stroke shooting 50-percent in the first half, and 42-percent overall, but it was their lack of rebounding that hurt them.

Colorado State, the fourth best rebounding team in the nation, outrebounded Missouri 42-19.

Phil Pressey led Missouri in scoring with 20 points, but did it on 7-19 shooting. Alex Oriakhi was perfect from the field hitting all six of his field goal attempts on the way to 16 points.

Senior guard Keion Bell finished the game scoreless while only playing 12 minutes--all in the first half.

The Tigers finish the season 17-0 at home, but 6-11 away from Mizzou Arena.
