(COLUMBIA, Mo.) Stanberry captured their first 8-Man State Championship this fall. Now, many of the same athletes that hoisted that trophy are on the verge of picking up one more.

The Bulldogs continued their memorable run through the Class 1 postseason Thursday with a 51-47 win over Meadville in the semifinals.

Four players finished in double figures as Jacob Heddinger led the way with 11 points. Cole Gage, Nathan Luke, and Ryan Jensen all had 10.

Stanberry will face Eminence in the Class 1 State Championship Game at 6:50 p.m. on Saturday.
