MoDOT Director Pete Rahn has been named Public Official of the Year by Governing Magazine. The magazine credits Rahn for steering programs to fix Missouri's roads and bridges. 83% of state roads are now considered in good condition and deadly crashes in the state have dropped 24% since 2005. Rahn is the first MoDOT director to earn the honor in the award's 23 year history. |
