Three straight weeks, the Chiefs defense has allowed opponents huge passing days. Eagles rookie-receiver DeSean Jackson lit the secondary with 149 yards receiving. Week four saw 3rd year receiver Steve Smith grab 11 catches for 134 yards and two touchdowns. In week five, the Cowboys Miles Austin set a Cowboy record in his first NFL start. Austin caught 10 balls for 250 yards. His performance broke a 39-year-old Cowboy receiving record. Chiefs rank 30th in total pass defense. |
