The trade coming after Miami quarterback Chad Pennington's injury. Pennington likely out for the season with a shoulder injury. The Dolphins looking to add depth to the quarterback position. Thigpen played in 16 games in three seasons with
Kansas City. He completed 232 of 426 passes for 2,649 passes with 18
TDs and 13 INTs for a 74.7 rating. He added 63 carries for 388 yards with three
TDs. He also caught a 37-yard TD pass in 2008. Thigpen was claimed off waivers by Kansas City from Minnesota in 2007. This is his third year in the NFL. The Vikings drafted him in the seventh-round pick out of Coastal Carolina. |
