(MARYVILLE) Northwest says it expects more than 7,000 students to be enrolled by the time the semester's in full swing.

Its the highest number ever seen by the university.

This first day of class was a busy time for both students and staff, who were getting used to a little less elbow room, but the crowds weren't the only thing the students were having to deal with.

Last week, two students were diagnosed with the H1N1 virus, also known as Swine Flu.

Most students we talked to say they're not overly concerned, but are taking precautions with things like hand-washing.

The university has sent out e-mails to students and put up signs to warn everybody.
