Rosecrans is getting a little help from mother nature these days.

The base recently installed solar panels to help cut down on energy costs.

The base is not only installing the solar panels but they're replacing all of the old ventilating systems for newer more efficient ones.

Rosecrans' array of solar panels is the largest in the region.

More will be installed by the end of this year.
